I went to law school to become an attorney because I’m passionate about helping people fight back against intimidating big companies and government agencies that take unfair and unreasonable advantage of their power, at the expense of people who deserve better.
With that passion, I fight for my clients with zealous, calculated strategies and tactics, finding ways to even the playing field and empower my clients toward the results they deserve.
Daniel J Kerness
I began my legal career as Vice President, Corporate Attorney, and Director of Clinic Operations at a Miami-Dade County chain of Occupational Medicine (Worker’s Compensation) clinics.
My extensive legal experience includes negotiations, mediations, contract management, dispute resolution, civil litigation, drafting pleadings, settlement agreements, promissory notes, purchase agreements, local, State, and Federal agency compliance, State agency litigation, and more.
As an independent attorney, I’ve successfully defended clients through civil litigation, including the appellate level.
Before becoming an Attorney, I served as a Hospital Corpsman in the U.S. Navy, and later became a television journalist, working as a general assignment reporter in Texas, and a news anchor in Mississippi.
As an attorney, I utilize the high attention to detail that the Navy engrained in me, expert writing skills drawn from my Broadcast Journalism studies and perfected while anchoring and reporting the news, and relentless investigative skills and techniques, delivering powerful, personalized legal services that my clients expect and deserve.
